Power Capacitors

Capacitors used for compensation are connected in parallel to the network in businesses with inductive reactive power character where loads such as motors, transformers and coils predominate, in order to prevent inductive reactive power withdrawal from the network and to avoid possible penal situations that may arise due to reactive penalty rates. These capacitors are designed and implemented in a way that they can compensate for the reactive power of the facility in any case, with various fixed or automatic applications depending on the load situation.

• Sigma Low Voltage Power Capacitors, from 0.25 kVar to 5 kVAr for 230V single-phase capacitors, from 0.5 kVAr to 50 kVAr for 400 V, 415 V, 440 V three-phase capacitors and in addition to 525 V heavy It offers reliable and long-lasting solutions to the reactive power needs of compensation systems from 10 kVAr to 30 kVAr with service capacitors.

• Sigma capacitors allow the capacitors to be discharged in a short time with their internal discharge resistance.

• Sigma capacitors have overpressure protection. In case of overpressure, the separation wire inside the capacitor breaks, energy transmission is interrupted and safe protection is provided.

• They are produced with dielectric polypropylene film material, which ensures low loss and long life of Sigma Capacitors.

• It has much lower power losses than those specified in TS EN standards.

• It has safe operating performance even at 65°C ambient temperature.
